Before delivering any cover letter:
A QA cover letter earns its read by naming a quality problem the company plausibly has and how you have solved it before: flaky suites blocking deploys, release regressions, missing API coverage, no performance baseline. One paragraph of proof beats three of enthusiasm: "At my last role I cut a 45-minute flaky suite to 12 stable minutes; your job post mentions CI bottlenecks, and that is exactly the work I enjoy." Skip generic passion-for-quality lines; every applicant has them.
